Shiprock @ Denver Mtn. Parks (Red Rocks)

This route is illegal now, but it didn't used to be.

There were once ladders for tourists to get up the crux chimney, now the chimney is somewhere between 4th class and 5.4. After one exits the chimney, there is a stairway carved into the slabs that leads to the summit.

Shiprock - North Side.

Bring a small rack for the chimney. High school kids used to just do the chimney unroped.
